Neurodiverse-affirming Speech Therapy
Our pediatric speech-language pathologists specialize in communication at every level — from first words to complex nuances of social interaction. We are trained in a variety of evidence-based and child-led methods, including:
- Gestalt Language Processing (Natural Language Acquisition/NLA Approach): Supporting children who communicate in scripts or “chunks” of language, guiding them toward self-generated, flexible speech.
- AAC & Total Communication: We value all forms of communication, from speech to sign, pictures, and high-tech AAC devices. Our goal is to help children find their voice in whatever way works best.
- Apraxia of Speech: We provide structured, individualized therapy for children who have difficulty planning and producing speech movements.
